Stilwell - Dart board

Continuing the digital restoration of "Stilwell," the comic strip I drew for the student newspaper at Cleveland State University, The Cauldron, 1971-73. This penultimate submission is self-absorbed and bloated at eight panels, and making matter worse, it's not very funny. In retrospect, I wish I could go back 40 years and slap myself upside the head, because it abandons the true strength of the strip -- its satirizing campus life at a fledgling state-subsidized, urban university. It is -- sigh -- a part of the collection. But wait. It gets worse. The final strip, which will follow this post soon and wrap up this project, sinks even lower by consuming an entire newspaper page. Anyway, here's the second-to-the-last "Stilwell."
